I was just reading Bryan Stevenson's Wikipedia page. Have you heard of him? He is a lawyer who advocates for minorities, those in poverty, and children in the justice system in the US. He has saved dozens of people from the death penalty (which should not still exist, in my opinion).
In 2018 he received an award from the American Philosophical Association for being a "drum major for justice and mercy."
Isn't that one of the greatest things you've ever heard?
