Stephen and I went prayer-walking tonight on mostly empty Kanazawa streets. The current prefectural state of emergency for COVID-19 will end tomorrow and I assume business will start picking back up again. We prayed for restoration not just of finances for folks, but restoration of LIFE in Jesus: mental, spiritual, physical, and financial health.
We saw these orchid plants just thrown out even though they are still alive, and Stephen had the sense that it was a picture of these poor women who are caught up and being trafficked--used up and thrown away even though still alive. Lord, bless them and release them.
I noticed one of the dodgy bars is called REGRET.
Empty streets.
Empty restaurants.
And a tropical tree full of beauty---may the Lord bring beauty from ashes and the oil of joy from mourning, freedom for the captives, and new life.
Amen, Abigail and Stephen!! Oh, Lord!! Bring this precious "orchid" ladies to You!!
