Prayer-Walking Time #43: Writing on the Wall

Stephen and I went back to the kencho (the Ishikawa Prefecture government offices) building where you can go up to a lookout on the 19th floor and walk around 360 degrees to see the city and the ocean. Our prayer walking ended up being mostly prayer sitting as Stephen had just gotten back from a week in the US and we were both tired.

Some students' beautiful calligraphy was on display as a bonus, including these two sets of kanji (the start of spring and the future). Last time we went to pray there we were the only ones there (with our friend Michael), but this time it was pleasantly busy with the students and their parents admiring the work.

We had a shorter prayer time than usual, but we know that God heard our prayers for:
  • the earthquake victims and evacuees
  • those trapped in human trafficking in our area
  • the perpetrators of human trafficking
  • churches and unity
  • people moving into temporary housing after the disaster and for community for them
  • for more housing to be built
  • for those people of peace out there working, whether they are believers yet or not
  • for blessings over the city and prefecture
Blessings on all of you as you read this, too.
