Prayer Walking in My Mind

Last night I had a little bit of trouble falling asleep, and God led me, in my mind, through all the streets in the areas of Katamachi and Kohrinbo in Kanazawa where my friend Sophia and I usually prayer walk to fight against human trafficking. I prayed as God led, and I realized that we are truly warriors of light, wherever we are, when we are praying in Jesus' name.

  1. Reminds me of what Cindy Jacobs wrote in her book, Possessing the Gates of the Enemy: “You and I are, in a sense, ‘territorial spirits’ because it is God who chooses when we will be born and, if we are following Him, where we will live. He has destined us to be in certain places geographically to possess the gates of the enemy in the land.” As believers we must know our identity in Christ and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit where He guides us, exerting the fullness of our authority in Christ over the powers of darkness.

    1. Thank you for this comment. I'm realizing this more and more--God has led us to this exact spot in Kanazawa at this exact time.
