Prayer-Walking Time #46: Noto Peninsula Earthquake Zone (Wajima)

This was a planned trip to help make and serve food in Wajima this past Monday, but the prayer walking was unplanned. We prayed before we made the food as a team of believers, we prayed to dedicate a new portable building at a Wajima church around the corner from the community center where we were serving (their church building was really messed up in the earthquake), we prayed as we walked down the main morning market street that had been totally destroyed by earthquake and fire, and we prayed just before we left to drive back home.

The devastation was shocking, even after seeing some of it on the news. So much has just been left as-is, and so many folks have left while the ones still there are battling not just loss but also despair.

It's been almost 5 months since the January 1 quake. Let's continue to pray for undergirding support in every way that these folks need it----firstly, Jesus, and then emotional and physical help too.
